Dress to Impress, by choosing the right bouquet for your wedding dress

The style of your wedding dress should be the number one factor for your bouquet choice. Even though choosing the bouquet style and type of flowers is extremely personal, the choice of the style should be based entirely on the type of the wedding dress.

For example:

  • For full-skirted wedding dresses  and dresses with a train, choose a shower bouquet;
  • For A-line, ballerina or princess skirts, long and flowing trains, the trailing bouquet will be ideal;
  • For short or calf-length skirts, 1950′s halter neck styles, choose a pomander bouquet;
  • For an understated, modern look choose the hand-tied bouquet
  • For traditional dress shapes, A-line skirts which flare from the waist, choose the tear-drop bouquet
  • An overarm bouquet is ideal for outfits with lots of detailing, long and silky styles.
